TryRDP started in 2018 out of a real frustration. Our founders had spent years managing Windows server infrastructure at hosting companies and kept running into the same problem: providers either oversold their hardware, locked down admin access, or charged enterprise prices for mediocre service.
So we built our own. Starting with two datacenter locations and a customer base of 500 people who found us entirely through word of mouth, we grew by doing the basics exceptionally well — genuine full admin access, NVMe storage before it was standard, and support staffed by people who actually understood Windows Server.
Eight years later, we operate 12 datacenter locations across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific, and serve more than 50,000 customers running Forex trading terminals, automation workflows, development environments, and remote work desktops.

The Beginning — RDPMafia
Founded as RDPMafia by a team of Windows server infrastructure specialists with a shared frustration: reliable RDP with real admin access was either overpriced or unreliable. We launched with two datacenter locations and grew our first 500 customers entirely through word of mouth within the first 90 days.
Rebranding to TryRDP
We rebranded to TryRDP and launched our first dedicated website and client portal. This year we expanded to 5 datacenter locations — adding UK and Netherlands — and introduced Shared RDP plans to make Windows remote desktop accessible to freelancers and small teams. Customer count crossed 2,000.
TryRDP 2.0 — Major Infrastructure Upgrade
Launched TryRDP 2.0 in July with a complete infrastructure overhaul: migrated all servers to NVMe SSD storage, upgraded network backbone to 1 Gbps per server, and deployed network-level DDoS protection across all locations. Added Germany, Canada, and Singapore. Customer count crossed 10,000.
Use-Case Specialized Plans
Stopped being a generic VPS reseller and doubled down on purpose-built Windows environments. Launched dedicated Forex RDP, Botting RDP, Streaming RDP, Encoding RDP, and Residential RDP plans — each with hardware tuned for its specific workload. Our 24/7 support team expanded to cover Windows Server troubleshooting around the clock.
European Expansion
Added France (Strasbourg) and Finland (Helsinki) to complete our European coverage. Upgraded all EU locations to 10 Gbps network uplinks with direct datacenter peering, reducing in-region latency to under 5ms average. Australia added for Asia-Pacific coverage. Monthly uptime averaged 99.97% across all locations.
TryRDP 3.0 — US Multi-PoP & Scale
Expanded USA coverage to 4 Points of Presence (Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, Buffalo) to reduce latency for North American customers. All locations migrated to NVMe storage across the board. Launched TryRDP 3.0 in October with AI-powered resource optimization and an expanded VPS product line.

Crossed the 50,000 active customer milestone. Unveiled TryRDP 4.0 in January with next-generation infrastructure, enhanced provisioning automation delivering login credentials in under 5 minutes, and unprecedented scalability. Violations of this policy will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
